Isuru Udana was bit expensive with the ball but he bagged two crucial wickets. Adam Zampa had a bad day but we all know that Australian leggie is a wicket taking baller. Gurkeerat Singh Maan adds depth in batting department.
Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, AB de Villiers, Shivam Dube are looking in great touch and all four batsmen have contributed with the bat when needed. Virat Kohli is undergoing a poor form. In first three matches he scored are 14, 1, 3 and these figures doesn’t define his class. Kohli would be desperate to perform with the bat in order to shut his critic’s mouth.
Washington Sundar was impressive during powerplay in last game but whether Kohli uses him against the likes of Jos Buttler, Steve Smith, Sanju Samson remain to be a question. With Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal, Isuru Udana, Adam Zampa, Royal Challengers Bangalore possess a decent bowling unit.
On the other hand after winning back to back matches against top sides, Rajasthan Royals lost their third game against Kolkata Knight Riders very convincingly. Early wickets of Steve Smith, Sanju Samson showed how much Rajasthan is dependent on their top three batsmen. Rajasthan Royals should make changes in their playing eleven in order to reduce over dependency on top order.
Robin Uthappa and Riyan Parag do not form reliable middle order. While Tom Curran scored half century in last game but that came off very late. There is a slight possibility that Rajasthan could bring Miller in, to boost their middle order and replace one of Riyan Parag or Robin Uthappa with Varun Aaron.
